Do NOT purchase from here Hypershop

Please do NOT buy anything from this shady company; I wish I saw these reviews before purchasing. I originally purchased a HyperDrive SOLO 7-in-1 USB-C Hub which was horrible and did not work well, so I decided to return the item. I followed all their instructions (I did send back via USPS). After waiting almost 3 weeks on a return status, they then tell me the package they received was empty and I wouldn't get a refund, which was ridiculous. I truly believe they lied in order to not issue a refund. I will NEVER buy from here again.

Everything I brought from this brand is…

Everything I bought from this brand is crap. The last thing was an adapter for mac book, I paid 50 eur for this and sometimes it's working, sometimes it's not. Terrible quality

I wish that I had see all of the…

I wish that I had see all of the reviews before purchasing the dual screen port from this site. First, the port was $200 plus shipping. After 2 months of receiving the unit one of the hdmi ports for the stopped working. Therefore, realistically it is a single screen port which I could have paid $30 from BestBuy. I reached out to support and now I am being told that I must pay for shipping back to the warehouse for servicing or replacement. That will be take a week to get there and a week to get back. This is a inconvenience to the customer and for me to have to pay for shipping for a second time because your product failed to after such a short period of time is insane. Do not purchase from this company. You will regret it when you product fails and you are still handing out your money to them. Avoid at all cost. The reviews are true!

Had problems with first version, maybe resolved now though

UPDATED REVIEW: I was one of the first backers of this charger, and I think maybe either my one was dud or the early batches were no good. I bought it for travel, and due to lockdown barely used it. When I tried it this year, the USB-A ports werent working at all, and the USB-C would cut in and out. Also the unit got really hot when plugged in, and my laptop would behave strangely when being charged by it.

Hyper - as seen in their response, after initially telling me to buy a unit, have sent me a new unit. The new one so far is working perfectly with all ports, and gets nowhere near as hot as the first version I got.

So - the company pulled through in the end, and the charger itself, so far is very good.

Do not buy from them

Do not buy from them! I first reached out in December with an issue. It is now March and they have not responded!

I had an issue with a brand new USB hub I purchased from them. Support Ticket #259042
* I first reached out (via email) to Hyper on December 21, 2021 to get help.
* On Dec 22nd I was asked what device I'm using and I answered the same day. This was the only response I was ever given.
* On Dec 27th I had received no response and emailed again
* On Jan 3 there was still no response and emailed again
* On Jan 10, I emailed again with no response
* On Jan 18, i called them. The person told me they were backed up, but assured me I would be getting a response later that day
* It is now March 16 and have heard NOTHING!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Having an issue with a device I bought back in December. Can't return it without an RMA. Can't get one via their support email (it's invalid) and Can't get them to answer the phone.

Bought a USB C hub that was advertised…

Bought a USB C hub that was advertised to be able to output 2 external monitors for the M1 MacBook Pro.

Now it is well known that the M1 MBP can only output 1 external monitor. So when I saw this product I had to try it.

After it arrived I tested it out. It did output 2 external monitors, but one of them has really bad colour. Everything looks purplish and text looks glitchy, basically unusable for work.

Wrote in to their customer service. They took a few weeks to reply and it shows that they did not even BOTHER to read my message.

Their reply was"did you update to latest firmware for computer and the USB hub?'

So in my first message to them I have attached a screenshot literally showing I'm running latest Big Sur.

Here comes the best part.. THERE ISNT EVEN ANY FIRMWARE UPDATES AVAILABLE ON THEIR WEBSITE! (They acknowledged this in a later reply)

So if you like to spend money and have people treat you like a fool.. Hypershop is the place to go!

edit: hypershop has replied below. my case number is #255749.. let's see if they really follow up with what they say.. the review will remain 1 star and only be updated after things have been rectified

edit 2: customer service followed up with a much better representative. however no replacement sent as they offered to push out an update by 25th Feb. Will keep updating this review!

My device stopped working within the year and customer service is ghosting me.

I purchased a USB Hub from them back in January of 2021. A month ago, the ports for the USB randomly started working. I reached out to support almost a month ago, and was pleased with how responsive the rep was at the time. Now, almost a month later, I have had no luck reaching anybody from support via telephone or email to get a status of my case. I have tried opening new message chains and even those are marked as "resolved" immediately without even ever getting a response. Do not use this company. It honestly seems like a scam at this point.
I have been unable to work due to this device malfunction and being within my year warranty period I expected way better help than what I'm receiving.

Steer clear away from this garbage company

Bought two chargers through their Kickstarter, was months late due to continuous random excuses.
The chargers are garbage as you cannot leave your devices on as the chargers "restarts" every time a device is taking up less power when full so at that point all devices connected will restart charging as well resulting in a little concert of notification sounds and vibrations.
One of the 100W sockets on the chargers broke as well and apparently they're only giving you 1 year warranty instead of the usual 2 year one, probably due to knowing how crap their products are so I was refused a replacement and instead was given a 15% discount towards buying a replacement which I will obviously not use after this. Of course I had to be okay with them being months late delivering my product, but when it comes to them doing the same it's out of the question! What a joke
